Mark Conlan: HIV-AIDS a “faith-based” Science

May 27, 2011

Mark Conlan is a journalist, gay activist and founder of HEAL San Diego. In this extended interview for the award winning documentary House of Numbers (2009), he recounts how the self-destructive behavior of a tiny segment of the gay community led to AIDS, which played a critical role in the political ascendance and financial success of the “gay movement.”

Scientists are supposed to observe, experiment and reason from what they observe.  They are not supposed to grab hold of an idea and cling to it and adjust everything else in their perceptions to fit that idea.  That’s what religion does.  That’s why I call HIV-AIDS faith-based science.
